Snowy Sunday!

We had what they are calling a 'wintery mix' on Friday. First it snowed 4 to 6 inches and then we had rain, sleet and wet snow. This 'mix' went on most of the day. When I left work at ten it was a misty rain. In the morning it was 12 degrees! These pictures are a result of the mess we had and what you see is mostly ice crystals.

The sun was shining most of the day Saturday and it looked like the yard was full of diamonds. I wish I could have captured it with the camera. For more Snowy Sunday posts or to join the fun stop over and see Chris and Laurie.

I bet it was very pretty with the sun dancing off the ice!

Ice crystals have a beauty all their own! As long as it's not a half inch thick on power lines, right? I like the shot of the holly berries and leaves!
