My kitchen is quite full of snowmen so I thought I'd share some more with you today.

Cupboard Toppers
I had a perm cancel so had time to play with the camera and computer so now I can download pictures. These snowpeople are on top of my kitchen cupboards.
(Click picture to enlarge)
I put my barbwire tree up here too this year.
Jars filled with snowballs and tree balls.
The cupboard isn't flush at the top so I add a piece of wood and hot glue the holly to the cupboard tops to hide the wood. I'll keep this display up all winter or until I'm sick of snow. (Which could be tomorrow! LOL!)Thursday, December 02, 2010
Front Entry
I change my front entry for the seasons. It's snowmen thru the winter, of course. I took down the coat hooks on the left side so I could decorate more.

Canning jars and snowmen
I decided to do something different on top of my kitchen cupboards this year. I have put my village there for several years. You'll need to stop back another day to see where it is now.
I started going thru some of the stuff I had and this is what I came up with. Canning jars and snowmen.
My lighted branch and some greens in a green bucket, canning jar filled with icy branches and greens.
Remember you can click on the pictures to enlarge.
A snowman in a jar and vintage tree light boxes.
A tin Santa picture, lights and greens in a jar and snow balls in a jar.
A jar light and prim snowman. I put vintage tree lights around everything. I'm happy with the results, it's a nice change.

Show and Tell
Today I'm showing you the last of my snowpeople. These are in my front entry.
The door to the living room.

I found these cute snowballs at a craft store. They are styrofoam balls with a glitter glued on them. Easy and cheap idea to fill bowls, baskets. etc. I'm planning on making some for next year.

Show and Tell
Even though I'm really sick of snow, I'm still lovin' my snowpeople! The glass front cupboard in the kitchen holds some snowman dishes. The picture in my topper is also my kitchen. This shelf is over my double kitchen windows.
This shelf is over the sink. Before I remodeled there was a window here that would now look into my shower. It's fun to decorate the shelf with some of my favorite things. Click on the picture to enlarge and see the cute bell tree on the right.
I switched out the Santas for snowmen in the boxes I made for table decorations.
I have candy canes and snowmen in my tiny bathroom. This very prim snowman just happened to have a red and white striped scarf on.
I like different little trees and they mix well with the snowpeople. A couple of these are vintage candles. My daughter gave me the candy canes on the wall for Christmas. It was funny because I'd never really used candy canes before and she gave me a couple. They worked right into my plan.
I bought this several years ago from one of our favorite craft sale vendors. Notice the barbwire.

Show and Tell
The Christmas decorations are all packed away but I leave my snowmen up until spring (or I get sick of winter, which ever comes first!) Today I'm showing you some of the snowmen pictrures I've painted over the years.
This one had the Santa in for Christmas.
You can click on the pictures to enlarge and see the details.
