A Bouquet!

I bought a bouquet of sun flowers when Jerzie and I were at the vegetable stand. I loved that there were 3 different colored ones in one bouquet.
I found this wooden carrier at a garage sale years ago and used it for canning jars,
It was the perfect holder for my sunflowers.
I put a bunch of sweet annie in the smaller jar in front.
I hope they last for a long time! I'm enjoying them in my kitchen.

Pretty bouquet, Jean.

I meant to buy some last week at the Farmer's Market and I forgot.

I miss having them this year.

I love what you put your sunflowers in Mom. We went to Andersons today but they didn't have any bouquets like that. :(

Oh, now I see why Van Goh painted sunflowers -- those are charming! (I grew them once and they were, well, scraggly.) I love that container you have them in -- that's a cool yardsale find. Quite the treasure.
