Welcome!
My favorite fall flower is the Anemone (windflower). There are about 120 species of Anemone and only a few are fall bloomers.
This is the Anemone Pamina and is a semi-double.
I just got this white one last year and I can't wait for it to spread.
I love the way the flowers tower over the foliage and when clumped together the plants form a nice full mound. This one is a Japanese Anemone and it is my favorite. I've had it for several years and have given a lot away. It could probably be considered invasive but I love it so much I don't care.
I love the simplicity of these blooms. I love everything about this plant!

Now that's something I don't have in my garden. Anemones are a wonderful fall bloomer. I love the Pink Japanese one. Very pretty blooms for Bloomin' Tuesday Jean.
Hello Jean, I don't have any of these either in my garden! I just love your Pink Japanese Anemone the best. I didn't realize there are so many different kinds of them! I will have to get some!
Thanks for sharing and for hosting Blooming Tuesday again this week.
Love, Ann
Not surprisingly, I don't have this genus and species. The Anemone plants are all lovely, but the pink Japanese Anemone would be the one I'd plant. Sometimes the simplest flowers are the best!

The Anemones are lovely. Your photographs really depict the beauty of these flowers. I have started a list of flowers that I hope to grow next year. I am going to get more information on several species. Thanks for Bloomin' Tuesday!
