Green Thumb Sunday

When I went out to take pictures yesterday I was surprised to see these tiny ants all over these white mums that were blooming.
They were on the pink edged ones too.
I spotted this one raspberry yarrow still blooming
and this cone flower. They are about the only bright spots left in the center garden.
What bright spots are left in your garden?
Click on the Green Thumb Sunday button on the sidebar to get a list of all those showing their blooms today.

They are certainly bright spots in your garden - the pumpkin livens it up too. I have gone for a pumpkin for GTS this week, as well!

Lovely photos....I do have some Imapriens and begonias still blooming but the brightest spot at the moment is my Acer as it turns red. Happy GTS

My garden is bare, but yours is bountiful enough. We're preparing for winter and doing a bit of transplanting before it's too late. I'm taking photos of autumn trees right now.

Such beautiful flowers you still have in bloom...the only thing I have left blooming is my miniature rose bushes in the faerie garden. I had a big pot of mums but they froze last night...sigh! We had snow this morning but it's all melted again. xox

Hi Jean, very pretty garden photos. As far as my bright spots...lets see, impatiens are still going...flower carpet roses and coreopsis.

All my mums are covered with ants too. I picked some to bring inside and they were all over everything!
I spotted a beautiful hibiscus bloom yesterday. We haven't had the real cold weather yet, so it will last a while longer.

Your garden still looks beautiful. It doesn't look like "time to put the garden to bed" time!! That raspberry yarrow is to die for.

It's nice to have any color in the garden this time of year - and looks like you have lovely things to enjoy. I love the color of that yarrow - very pretty.
