Today I'm going to show you some more things I put together using my box of wood I got at the auction. I know this isn't every ones taste and I'm sure I'll get tired of it but it is an inexpensive way to change things up a little. This appears to be the bottom or top on a porch post. I found the glass dome at a thrift store. The door knob was from an old church and the wooden knobs were in one of the boxes I got in the box of boxes I bought for a dollar. There are a couple wooden nickles from the bicentennial in the small town I grew up in. The burgundy cylinder holds pencil lead and was in my Mom's stuff. There are even a couple chips of rocks that were used when my Grandpa built their fireplace.
I used this chunk of baseboard (?) as a picture holder. I chose a brown tone picture because I thought it looked best. I used upholstery tacks to hold the picture on.
I just laid one of the bulls eyes there as decoration. I've had the violin player since I was small. It was a left over prize for my Grandma's canasta club so she gave it to me.

There you have it! Another way to use junk!
