It's Bloomin' Tuesday!

Welcome to Bloomin' Tuesday! We have had 3 days of sunshine in a row in Western New York! I think that is a record for this spring. After all the rain everything is popping out!

I love the checkered Fritillary Lily. I'm really hoping they will multiply.

I have tulips everywhere! I don't remember planting them all. There are usually several leaves with no blooms but I think they all bloomed this year.

As you can tell I'm not particular about color or type. I love variety in the garden.

These bright ones are in the garden in the middle of my yard so they can be seen from afar.

This is a beautiful color combination.

The Jack Frost and

Looking Glass Brunerra are both in bloom in the shade garden.

I had to give you another look at the Lenten Rose in the shade garden, too.

These cute violets are everywhere! I love them when they bloom in spring and then I just pull some out when other plants are blooming.

There are also forget-me-nots in every garden and in the walkway. They add so much color this time of year. I pull lots of them out after they finish their show.

I'm anxious to see what spring delights you have for us this week. Add your name and permalink to Mr Linky to join the garden walk this week. Please, remember to post a link to this post on your blog so your friends can join the fun .

Hi Jean,
I have been noticing pictures of fritillary lillies here and there, and saw one locally a few weeks ago. I think we are on the edge of their "zone". They sure are pretty! I want to try to grow some. I'm thinking they are grown from bulbs planted in the fall.

I enjoyed your other blooms, too. I love hellebores, too. I didn't include the photo of my Jack Frost because it didn't turn out very good. I almost did anyway, but I had plenty to post. It's the second year for it, and I had to move it before we had our tree cut down.

I also enjoyed your "sweeties" slideshow.

Jean, your garden looks to be two weeks or so behind ours. Our tulips are totally done. Yours are beautiful! Enjoy the sunshine while you can. We have had so much rain here and it just seems to keep coming. More expected tonight, Wed, and Thursday. ::sigh:: But the garden is looking lovely. It likes the rain. :) ~~Rhonda
