Winter

"If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant:
if we did not sometimes taste of adversity,
prosperity would not be so welcome."

wow,... those icicles are huge! Hope you aren't losing too much heat through the ceilings/roof and that's what causing them. We used to get them on the old house. Now that it's insulated and a new roof no more icicles. My own house is fairly new and well insulated so no icicles. They were always pretty with the christmas lights in the window reflecting on them.

There is a reason there is opposition in all things. Those icicles are gorgeous against the backdrop of that beautiful blue sky!

I've been traveling this past week and haven't had time to read or post blogs. I am catching up on reading now. I hope to post a blog sometime this week, once I collect my thoughts and organize the photographs from our travels.

We had the icicles at our house too. Our house is well insulated and we have a new roof as well.
