I'm not sure what draws me to moss in the fall, but something does. It might just be the bright splash of green in the brown woods. I'm not interested in learning about different types of moss, just in taking pictures of it.

That is a very pretty green. I love mosses too and I do not have a desire to know their names either, just like to enjoy them!
I love these pictures of moss. I think of elves and fairies...when I see moss. Toadstools and mushrooms seem to go with. I'll never grow up.

Oh, that is fascinating. We don't have moss like that in this part of Colorado -- too dry -- so that was amazing to me!

I love the moss too. Always have. I have to agree with Balisha, it reminds me of elves and fairies... something magical about moss.
