Fall Bloomers

Okay, it's time to get out your fall bloomers, or snuggies, as you may call them. Not! Did you really think I was going to show underwear?
I'm talking about the discoveries while out blowing leaves and mowing lawn (for the last time this year!)Primroses.
Dead nettle.
A rose.
Cranesbill geranium.
Bachelor Button.
Mums.

I also found these leaves circled into small holes in the ground.
Does anyone know what critter does this?

I'm wondering if it is ground bees.

What beautiful flowers! Mine are long gone...with the exception of a few stray roses, and they look pretty worn and wind-blown. I have no idea what critter does that with the leaves. You wonder if they're planning to live in them? Funny.

Enjoyed the pictures.

Wow, you still have a few nice blooms left! We have our mums, but they are looking worse for wear.

I don't think I have ever seen primroses like that blooming in the fall. Very pretty.
