Wanted to share a very easy craft that Jerzie and I did. All you need is a styrofoam ball (any size), a square of white material (I had muslin on hand so that's what we used), a piece of dowel (any size) and stickers, markers or paint.
Stick the dowel into the ball.
Center the fabric over the ball to see where the face should go, remove, then put a face on the material. Jerzie choose to use some eye stickers and a marker.
Put the material back over the ball and secure. I used a white twist tie but you can also use pipe cleaners or ribbon.
There you have it. Two cute ghosts made with stuff around the house. You have the option of making them any size you want. Jerzie had some Halloween stickers so she put a spider and web on one ghost too.
This is the adult version I made several years ago. We used batting for the head and added a cross dowel, painted decorations and pompom spiders.
