A new use for.....

...but first, I need to wish my son, Kim a Happy Birthday! He's playing with one of his presents. Love you!
My neighbor has become interested in gardening. We often meet early in the morning working outside. She told me a few weeks ago that she had an experiment she would like to show me. She had accidentally broken off one of her lilies. Her solution was to hold it together with...

...duct tape!
I can't believe it but it actually worked! See the tape at the bottom of the plant?

It's a lovely orange color and is full of blooms.
So there you have it, a new use for duct tape!

My husband accidentally knocked off the dragonfly on my solar light. He used duct tape to attach it back to the post. It still works. Duct tape has lots of uses :-)

What a great tip--I would have never thought to duct tape the lily. I break at least two of them every year, so this tip should come in handy. . . too bad I didn't know it last week!

Thanks so much for sharing it.

Ah, Mr. Potato Head brings back memories. Happy Birthday to your son.

Now that I've got to try. How many times has that happened to me and broken my heart! Hey, if it works - I'll need to get stock in duct tape - I'll use a lot of it!
