A Walk in the Park

I took the girls for a walk by the creek in the park today. We tried last week but it was too muddy for the stroller. All I can say about this is....I don't have a clue! LOL!!
Jerzie had fun walking up the stone stairs, watching for chipmunks and squirrels, walking in the mud,
throwing rocks in the water
and building castles in the dirt and stones.
Payton enjoyed the bumpy ride but by the time we headed for home she was tired out.
It's great to have places like this to walk to in our little city.

What precious kids. Don't they just love to explore? I remember this with my kids and grandkids.

Happy belated Birthday, dear Jean!! I'm so sorry I missed it, I've been so terrible at visiting my blogging friends lately:-( I loved hearing all about your surprise birthday party and that cake is just gorgeous!!

Love the pictures in this post as well, the creek looks like such a wonderful place to walk to! xoxo

Love Jerzie's costume, looks like she made it herself! What a great walk for the three of you.

It's nice that your grandchildren live so close that you can take them on impromtu walks such as this.
