What a nice flashback to summer Jean! The birdhouses really looked great in the garden beds. My favorite is the last one, is that some kind of watering can? Very cute! By the way I should have a post up tonite, got a nice surprise for everyone! :)

Interesting birdhouses. Here is Arizona, not many people put up birdhouses for some reason. If you see one, they are more decorative than for actual use by birds.

Aren't birdhouses on the ground unusual? I know that some birds nest in shrubery not high trees, but I didn't know that some wanted to live so close to a level where predators could get them. Interesting. Or,.... was that just a display, not actually in use?
Cedar, Since it was a garden tour, I assume they were just decorative. It's certainly not a normal practice. Jean
why I didn't comment earlier the Lord only knows! These photos are stunning, the birdhouses are charming sitting around the flower garden like that. I like decorative birdhouses almost as much as the ones the birds actually use!

Hey smarty pants, I believe you are correct about me labeling the Lupine as Foxglove. I forgot what plant I put closest to the tree, I have three rows, apparently the Lunpine is in the middle. I wonder if the other one I posted is the foxglve? it's that are larkspur...........sigh
I can't wait until our flowers are all out and blooming like that again! I'm so tired of all this snow, seems like Winter has been here forever. I just love all the different types of bird houses they had!!
Jerzie looks just adorable in her black outfit you got for her. I know what you mean about usually not liking black clothes for children but when they're pretty outfits like that, who can resist! xoxo
