'Up on the roof'...

It is a perfect fall day so I decided after the morning in the beauty shop I would take one fall project off my list. I got the tar bucket,
climbed out the upstairs window
and tarred the roof.
Some of you may remember when my fairly new roof leaked this winter. I thought the guys that did my roof screwed up.
The new roofer said he thought all I needed was to tar the area where the ice builds up so that's what I did.
I sure hope it works! If not I will have a roofer take that area of roof off and start over in the spring.
So what did you do this perfect fall day? Were you 'up on the roof'?

Brave you....up on the roof! I was doing just the opposite....I was in my lower level sewing studio trying to clean and organize. It was too nice a day to be inside but I really needed to get this done.

My Rose of Sharon babies are doing well in the big pot I planted them in. I will cover them in mulch, putting them to bed for winter and then transplant in the spring.

((hugs)) Rosie

You are alot braver than I am. I couldn't get on the roof unless my babies were just about to be soaked.

You go, Girl!

I admire your tenacity -- and your blog is beautiful!

To answer your question about my night stands, I decided to leave them as is for now, but I'm getting new bedding and still working on art work.

Thanks for your suggestions!

I replaced my leaky roof with tin roofing this time last year and I am thrilled! It went right over the existing roofing, ergono tear-off, no disposal. And it makes the coolest plink, plink, plink when it rains. Brave, ambitious you going out on the roof with the tar bucket. I tiled my backsplash.
