Mystery.....

I had very tiny ants in my kitchen for the first time this year. Because they share a wall I also saw a few in the bathroom. I put some ant traps in both rooms. One in the bathroom was between my pedestal sink and waste basket. A couple mornings I found the trap in the middle of the floor. One night I kicked it when I got up to use the bathroom. I knew my ants weren't big enough to move that trap so I had to figure out what was going on.
....Solved!
Seems this mouse was using the ant trap for a toy! Do you see that tail sticking out of the mouse trap?Did you know they have finally really built a better mouse trap?
If you care, I highly recommend this trap. Just put a little peanut butter in the cup and set the trap by using a lever on the outside. All you see is the tail! Open the end, press the lever and the critter is gone.
I set the trap again to see if a couple mice were using the ant trap for a hockey puck!

Tis the season for ants and mice! That does look like a much better trap!

I have used those ant traps. They work quickly. I had ants around my fur babies "on demand" food dish. I needed something that wouldn't hurt them.

I will try those mouse traps if I ever need them. Do they kill or just make it easy to dispose of them?

Hi Jean, I have not seen those mouse traps, I am going to try them next time! As for those ant bait things, about 2 weeks ago, I set some and we noticed our dog had eaten all the poision out of the center. I had put them under the dishwasher, somehow he got it out. We were so afraid he would get sick and die but it didn't phase him at all! whew! It was close so I think I like traps with no poision when you have animals!

Cool mouse trap!

I get those tiny little ants almost ever year. They are a pain. Those little traps did not help at all. There was nothing I could really do, but up with them. I saw a few ants earlier this year, but (crossing my fingers) they seem to be gone now.

Playing hockey with the ant trap! Funny! I do like your mouse trap! I'm going to keep an eye out for these at the store.
