I got mail!

I commented on some bright pink rose campion on Zoey's blog, Perennial Passion, and she offered to send me some seeds she had left over. I just got these cute homemade seed packets full of seeds in the mail. I can't wait to plant them! I'm just hoping that this little fellow doesn't eat them.
Every time I head out to my middle garden this bunny comes running out from the middle of it. He ate all the sunflowers that I started inside. He has also eaten the globe thistle that I moved last year. Every time they start to grow he eats all the tender leaves. I'm sure he also pruned my rose bush last winter. Hopefully rose campion doesn't taste good!
Thanks, Zoey!

The bunnies in our garden took a liking to the Stargazer lilies. They must taste as good as they look :-}
I've passed a blog award on to you today Jean.

Jean, I'm so glad you shared the Rose Campion. I have been trying to remember the name of this flower. My MIL pulled tons of them out when they bought their home 10 years ago. She thought they were weeds. I could have cried! She got rid of several things I would love to have had if I had known what she was up to. I always love seeing what is blooming in your yard.

Hmm, I never thought about the bunnies. I wonder if that who ate my dwarf bleeding heart? Not nice....I might just be tempted to put Petey the Dawg out front for night bunny patrol!! (Not, piggy bunnies they might be, but they're so cute!!)

I feel so blessed that a bunny comes to visit my yard... and eually blessed that the dogs so enjoy greeting the bunny, vigorously!

And I have to say, the story of the wren is my new favorite. Thanks for the fabulous photos.

My mom would say "Has that rabbit heard of rabbit stew?" lol I hope the rose campion tastes terrible and they leave it alone. The bunnies don't come in my yard anymore, the dogs made their lives too stressful. :)

Hi Jean,
You are welcome. Glad they arrived safely. I don't think that wascally wabbit will bother them. Nothing eats mine, not even the deer.
