Show and Tell

I'm sure some of you remember the folding door I bought at a sale and hung on the end of my deck.
The glass had beveled edges to look like little panes. After I frosted the ivy design on my auction door, I hung it under the other door.
I like the details on the door. The door was stripped when I got it so I put some stain/poly on it.
I also hung a regular window on the side where the grill is.
The next door neighbors have a second story deck too and once the tree leafs out I'll feel like I have a little more privacy. I also hope it will block some of the cigarette smoke that comes my way. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

If you'd like to see more posts involved in Show and Tell Friday go over to Kelli's House.

If you enjoy taking garden pictures stop by for Bloomin' Tuesday and join the fun!

Love the windows and I have been thinking about adding a window or two to my porch.

I love that look. I really am a shabby chic girl at heart. Don't have it in my home any longer, but using windows and old shutters....very cool.

That is beautiful! Unfortunately between the dog and wind that would never last at our home.

We also have a second story deck and look over onto our neighbors yard, and the back of another neighbors home. So we put up lattice and planted wisteria (out of the dog's reach) to grow up through the lattice for privacy. Your porch does look lovely and it's so green where you are at.

That is so cool. It's pretty and I'm sure gives protection from wind.

You did a lovely job on those windows. And I hope it does keep the smoke out! Blech!

Have a lovely evening!

I love the look of the windows! Kind of act as a "wall". I'm sure it makes the deck feel more homey!

That is amazing! I have a similar situation and a place on a back patio where I could do something similar. I am so inspired!
