Show and Tell

Some of you will remember this frame that I had in my bedroom. I bought this frame with the glass missing real cheap at Burlington Coat Factory. I used an old linen tablecloth for the background and some stuff from my garden and had a new glass cut. I decided I was tired of it and the dried leaves didn't look so good anymore.

You can click on the pictures to enlarge.
This is how it is now. I still have it in my bedroom, thus the purple accents.
The picture on the left is my Grandparents and on the right, my Mom and Dad. I left the linen tablecloth background, and cut the mats out of scrapbook paper. I used a trim with purple and white flowers around the inside to give some more color since the prints are black and white..
These pictures are my kids, daughter on the left, son on the right. I used the same paper but trimmed these color pictures with cream lace and beads.

I hot glued the angel on the top. I got it in some dollar stuff at Micheal's. I also added the little purple flowers with bead centers to add a touch of purple.

Very nice looking. A lovely way to display these great photos. You are very clever. My S&T today shows what I did with some little trays I bought at Pottery Barn. SORT of the same type of project. but one that would probably interest you.
