It's Bloomin' Tuesday!

One of my pet peeves about blogging is a "permanent" list of bloggers that sign up to post a certain thing on a picked day of the week. I was in a group like this and before you knew it there were over 100 signed up. It's super that there are 100 bloggers interested but the problem is only about half posted every week. I spent hours going to blogs that hadn't posted in weeks. What does that have to do with Bloomin' Tuesday? I would like to have several bloggers post pictures from their gardens on Tuesdays. There will be no "permanent" list but a Mr Linky. You can sign up any Tuesday that you feel like taking part.
I am not doing this to increase traffic to my blog, but because I enjoy seeing every one's gardens. There will be no rules! There will be a button available if you would like to add it to your blog. (Edit: The first 2 pictures are the buttons, take your pick) Of course, if this is going to work, you will have to direct people to the list with a link to my blog, so they can sign up or just enjoy the posts.
I will have Mr Linky up about 10 o'clock on Monday nights so you can add your link any time from then on. I do ask that you link to the specific post (perma link) and not your entire blog. (Click on the time at the bottom of your post and copy the address from there.)
You can show everything that is blooming at that time, post about a specific plant that you enjoy or a garden tour you went on. You have complete control over what you post, as long as it is garden related.

Do you think you would sign up once in awhile or do you know someone that would be interested? Please, leave a comment so I can see if there is enough interest to get this started.
Happy Gardening!

I know what you mean about some of those long link lists...jeepers it is hard to find the time to get around to everyone.
Then there are those that post their whole site instead of the post like you indicated and there you are trying to find a post that was writen three days ago...geesh!!

I love flowers but I don't have enough to show.

Would love to see yours though!

Love & Hugs ♥

Sounds wonderful, I'm not sure just how to work Mr. Linky though. Do we just submit a picture or what? Oh my, I'm still learning about blogging.

Hugs, RoseMarie

I'm interested (cos I love flowers..) but am not sure how Mr. Linky works.. basically, what you're saying is to link only when we post for "Blooming Tuesday" and not other days.. right? wrong? Am looking forward to hear more from you. Cheers, Montserrat

I would love to post garden things, at least until my garden freezes. I have been looking for some garden memes.
