January thaw!

This picture is a little dark but can you see the snowmen in the angels arms? Now notice the window. That's right, I have snowmen on the windowsill in my bathroom and the window is open! There are a couple more windows open too. It's 60+ degrees and the sun was shinning this afternoon. It feels and smells just like spring, too bad it isn't. Speaking of snowmen , here are a couple I made for Christmas gifts.
These shapes were laser cut so the sides are already dark. I got them here.
Base coating hearts. In the pattern the hearts were painted on. I thought it was much quicker and more dimensional to add heart cutouts.
Here they are finished. Just my style, cheap and easy!
My daughter, daughter-in-law and I made these. We first saw them at the Teeny Tiny Cabin and Claudia graciously told us how she made them. They were so much fun and we all loved them, as did everyone we gave them to! Thanks, Claudia!

Love both sets of snowmen! I did a double-take when I saw the second set.....They are exactly like the ones Claudia made me a few years ago!

This weather IS unbelievable!

Jean, those snowmen are just adorable!

60 degrees? Wow! I thought 45 degrees was warm here. You will have a case of spring fever way too early with weather like that!

I have just enlarged the pic to get a better look at those snowmen. Are those cinnamon sticks they are holding? Did you sprinkle regular glitter on the varnish, or how did you get the sparkle? I am printing them out now to remember for next year!

Omigosh, all of those snowmen are just so precious!! Can you adopt me so that I can get some as Christmas gifts??? hehe They truly are adorable! We're having the same kind of weather, very mild and foggy. Our snow has melted so much, we can see grass everywhere now. It poured rain all day too. This is so unusual for us for this time of year. xox
