I went out today and took down my outdoor decorations. I decided I needed something on the front door so I started looking around.
I found a grapevine wreath with nothing but left over hot glue on it so I cleaned it up. Then I found some snow flake cut outs that I painted and varnished with sparkle glaze. I took apart a burgundy bow and straightened the ribbon out with a warm curling iron. All I needed to add was a snow person I hadn't put out this year. You can't tell by the picture but the ribbon has gold sparkly specks on it and the snow flakes sparkle too.
I left the sled out and put up my snowman flag.
I also added a large wooden snowman to the side door by the window box.
Now I'm all set for winter, are you?

Hello dear Jean,
I've just caught up with your last few posts...all of your snowmen are so adorable and I love the wreath you've just made! I never think of leaving out my snowmen, they always get put away with the Christmas stuff..next year I'll have to remember to leave a few out to keep me company during the winter:-) Thank you for the Spinach Roll Ups recipe, I've copied it!! Here's to another wonderful year of friendship. xox
