Show 'n Tell Friday

My Show and Tell items this week are a couple wax Santas I found.
The Santa on the left is a candle. It's rare to find one this large, about 8 1/2 inches, in such good condition.
The Santa on the right is also made of wax. Because of the bottom and light weight, I believe he was filled with Fanny Farmer candy.

The bottom doesn't come off easily and I don't want to ruin it. I love both of these Santas and they are a great addition to my Christmas decor.

I have a Santa candle just like that but mine is about 5 or 6" high. I have 4 or 5 candles that size I have had for YEARS!!! I drag them out every Christmas.

Reminds me of a Santa candle my mom had when I was little. We kept out Christmas things in the garage during the year and I remember that Santa getting more misshapen each year, from melting a little at a time.

I like the falling leaves and the cursor! Is it a 'JW' I am seeing?

Yes, one can not ruin such beauties. Are they placed at a visible place, now?

I remember those from when I was a child, the candle ones. Could the one on the right be a "lid" to a candy container that went underneath? He looks like he needs legs. Thanks for sharing these.

I remember those waxed Santas. I think Mom still has a couple of them. They were lovely and these ones look like they are in marvelous condition.

Thanks for sharing.

Such wonderful vintage wax candles, they truly are delightful! I remember my mom having a candle similar to that and how much I had cried after she lit it and it melted his face away...that was quite devastating for me! lol xox

hmm--you need to put snowflakes as your back drop on December first ;-). Those santas remind me of wax ones from my childhood!! Thanks for showing them.

Jean...I really love these vintage Santas! I remember candles like that when I was a little girl...OH NO...that makes me vintage, too!

I just scored some old glass ball ornaments from a thrift store...can't wait to put them out.
