This and that

This is the Cosmopolitan cover for December of 1953. Seems like a strange cover for winter especially in "53. I guess they have always been on the edge! Christmas lingerie gift guide for men only?Well, I can quit saying almost for a couple things. The wrapping and fudge are done and I just took the last pan of cookies out of the oven. I think I might make it after all!
Do you love Christmas lights? As I've stated before and read in several blogs, riding around checking out lights is a family tradition for many. A couple in our city took that one step farther a couple years ago. They drive around the entire area and then post the pictures on a website. It's not only fun to look at but it also gives us an idea what streets have the most light shows so we can go there in person If you'd like to check it out click here. My house has been on the last 2 years but hasn't been done yet this year. Some of the areas are 10 or 15 miles outside the city. There are some beautifully done houses and I think you'll enjoy it!
