"My snowman and me...

Welcome thee" back to my kitchen. My table sits in front of these windows. It is really not as dark as it looks but my deck has a roof and that is the dark you see out the window. These are the Merry Christmas letters that my son and his friends moved around the house to spell different things. I've had them for a long time. When I bought them they were really a splurge for me but I still love them so they were worth it.
I added this grapevine, berries and some birds this year. I actually bought the birds to use as Christmas presents but liked them so much I couldn't part with them. I love the seed pods they are sitting on as much as I love the birds.
I guess keeping presents runs in the family. I told my daughter I really liked a snowman she had in a canning jar and she said, I bought that for you! I can't give her too hard of a time when I do the same thing, but I sure would like one of those snowmen!
I think this is my favorite because of the seed pod. I'm sure I'll figure a way to keep these up long after Christmas. I normally have bird houses over my cupboards where the village is so they will work with the decor.
A couple more days in the kitchen and then on to the bathroom. Don't forget to stop back for another visit.
