Welcome to the first Bloomin' Tuesday in August!
I'm sure we've all seen blooms like this,
or like this, as I have.
Have you ever seen anything like this?
This bloom/leaf is supposed to look like ...
this!
I must say it's been interesting to watch. I'll keep you posted if it changes any more.
Do you have any strange blooms from this strange summer weather? I'd like to see your blooms wether they are strange or not! Add your name and permalink to Mr Linky to join the fun. Please, remember to add a link to this post on your post.

Hi Jean, I've seen the double-decker rudbeckias in my garden. Never have I seen a calla like yours. It's very interesting. I think callas are beautiful but I haven't grown any (yet). Have a good week!
It must have been really cool to watch this bloom unfurl. The images are wonderful.

Hi Jean,
I can't quite say I have ever seen a Calla Lily look like that. Please do keep us updated. Your Bee Balm looks wonderful.
How unique! I love the unexpected stuff in the garden!
I've never seen a calla like that - how interesting. I have had double blooms, but never one sitting on top of the other. I once had a triple hibiscus that resembled a carnation, rather than the large flat flower it should have been. Please do keep us updated on your interesting calla!
That's an interesting bloom. Can't say I've ever seen one do that. Have a lovely week.
Jean you do have a rather different calla will be interesting to see what happens........ Looks like you might have gotten some rain. We finally did not enough yet tho.
I have a lot of yellow callas and I have never seen one bloom half flower/half leaf! Very interesting.
Thanks for sharing. It is great to see you celebrating all the plants and not just the 'perfect' ones.
Really, this summer and its heat have had some strange affects! That is so wierd, but beautiful, too. Keep us posted.
Hi Jean, Fun and creative post! You're right...flowers don't always do what we'd like! :)
Hey there everyone! I've been away from the memes for a while but I thought now would be a good time to drop by and say hello. My house just sold, so it's on to new gardening adventures for me very soon. This is a bit of a good-bye from my current garden to all my garden blog friends out there!
Such pretty pictures! I am going to have to look for Limelight hydrangea as we get bit by the frosts also! It is beautiful!
Joining the party though a little late!
