It's Bloomin' Tuesday!

 Welcome!
We are still hoping for some good soaking rain.  70% chance tomorrow!
The dry weather hasn't slowed down the Dead Nettle around the tree in the shade garden.  It had spread a couple feet past the brick circling the tree so I pulled out tons of it earlier this spring.
This Clematis climbing up the sides to an old iron crib is putting on a great show in spite of the heat.  (Mid to high 80's and that is not normal for Memorial weekend in New York!)
One of my favorites is blooming in the front garden. I love these mulleins!  They are such soft colors.
They just seem to have an old fashion look to me.
The sidewalk garden has some blue going on with Siberian Iris and Blue balloon flowers.
The driveway garden is brimming with dianthus! There are dark purple and white behind the red, that have not bloomed yet.   Then moss roses and cranesbill geranium. A purple Clematis climbs the trellis in back.
The first plant is this lovely white fringed dianthus.
I trust you all had a nice holiday weekend and had lots of time to take pictures of your gardens so you could join the tour.  Remember to add your name and permalink to Mr Linky and add a link to this post on your Bloomin' Tuesday post.

Your gardens are full of wonderful plants. I like mulleins and have grown them in the past but they disappear after a few years. I guess one has to accept that some plants are short-lived in various locations.

Your dianthus are gorgeous. Mine seemed subpar this season. Love the use of the crib for your climbing clematis.

I have three different Mullien but yours look stockier than mine. Maybe, you have them planted in a drier place than I do...they don't bloom too long but I sure like the flowers while they are around.

Love the mulleins and the fringed dianthus! So pretty! I don't have any luck with dianthus. We have some wild mulleins, so maybe I should try one of those pretty ones you have. So nice! ~~Rhonda
