It's Bloomin' Tuesday

Welcome!

Today it's all about the Limelight Hydrangea. I do love this hydrangea but I am very surprised at how huge it got this year! I didn't expect and really didn't want it quite so big.

I read about a mini Limelight but don't remember where I read it. Have you heard about it?

I love the light green color of the buds and the fact that it doesn't mind the sun.

Speaking of hydrangea, I moved 2 Endless Summer bushes and the new Forever and Ever Together one I got for my birthday. I decided I wanted a border garden along the sidewalk so I have spent 2 days removing sod. I planted a Endless Summer at either end with the Forever and Ever in the middle. Tomorrow I start moving plants and going shopping for a few more.

Hi Jean,

Your Hydrangea is gorgeous! I hope next year to be able to grow one. It looks like your side garden is going to be beautiful. Happy planting and thank you for hosting!

What fun to be planting a new garden. It's amazing how big Limelight grew so quickly for you.

I have not had time to do a new garden post for BT. Maybe when I get home tonight I can link up. Until then I will just enjoy everybody's elses garden.

Gorgeous! I'm always so jealous of folks who can grow hydrangeas, as I think it is too hot here in FL to grow them.

What a beauty! Boy oh boy have you been busy hard at work. Removing sod is no walk in the park!

Jean Joining in and by coincidence I am posting about drying Limelight and Endless Summer Hydrangea..
Like your idea of making an all Hydrangea garden.

At the moment the hydrangea still looks to be a perfect size for the position you have planted it in, very attractive.

Your limelight is beautiful! I have heard there is a Little Lime one; maybe that's the one you are thinking of? It's always so fun to plan a new garden - I'm excited to see how your sidewalk border turns out!

Your hydrangeas are incredible. It has to be one of my favorite flowers and I don't have one in my yard! Must remedy that! Thanks so much for hosting, Jean -- we appreciate it!
