Welcome!
The pink Azalea in the back yard is blooming now. It was planted in front, all tangled with the purple one when I bought the house, 20+ years ago. I moved it around a bit but it seems happy where it is.
This is the fullest it has ever been.
The Tickseed, nana, has added a bright splash of yellow to the purples in the garage garden this week.
The middle garden is starting to come alive. The foxglove is beginning to bloom, although it is no where near as tall as last year, the pink in front is Thrift.
There are 2 Cranesbill Geranium right in the center of the garden. The darker one I have had several years and is Alpenglow. I got the lighter one last year, it's name is Karmina.
This is a plant from the original Alpenglow that is in front by the driveway. Cranesbill Geranium is a great hardy, spreading plant and comes in several colors. I highly recommend it for every garden.

There isn't much blooming in the shade garden but it doesn't need blooms to add interest and color.

And a Lady in Red Fern with red stems in front of a tall plant with more burgundies and green, Persicaria Microcephala, Dragon Plant.

Hi Jean, your garden is really filling in nicely. I love the shade garden especially, who needs blooms with all that pretty foliage. :)
Hey Jean! I love your shade beds, they look lush. Any specific recommendations on shade plants that would do well with cold winters and majorly wet feet in the spring (snow melt)?
Hi Jean,
Your plants look happy and healthy. I did a double take when I saw your geraniums. They look just like mine. Most of my tags are lost, and I can't remember the names, but Karmina sounds familiar. I think that is the name of one of mine.
Well, I'm off to bed! Thanks for hosting Bloomin' Tuesday!
Hi Jean,
Your gardens look magnificent! I love the textures and colors of your shade garden which I don't have much of. This is my first time joining your party. Thank you for hosting and have a great day.
Hi Jean,
You have such a nice variety of shade plants. That hosta is quite striking in the creeping jenny.
I am liking the foliage on Persicaria Microcephala, Dragon Plant, too. I don't think I have seen that plant before.
I have a couple of cr. geranium that are a nice size this year - no blooms yet though.
Love the garden area next to your shed. Thanks for sharing so many wonderful gardens!
Hi Jean! YAY!!! It's definitely bloomin' time here and at your place, and your gardens look fabulous! I just love your shed and how you've planted around it. All your plants and beds look great. We have a lot of the same plants/flowers :o)
I'm linking to "Bloomin' Tuesday". Thanks for allowing me to share my garden with some of your readers.
Regards,
Carla
Love your shed garden and your shed! Your gardens are greening up very nicely...
Jean your azalea is gorgeous.... the shade garden may not have showy blooms but the colour combos of the leaves make up for it. Love the Brunnera..
I love your shade gardens. I would love to be sitting in the shade with you drinking coffee or something. Your yard is looking so good.
I don't have anything to post for Bloomin Tuesday today. Left my photo card at work yesterday. Darnit.
Hi Jean,
I love your Cranesbill Geranium. I have a pink one but it's low-crawling and clings to the mulch. Maybe it's a different variety, but I LOVE the way yours looks so healthy. Maybe if I transplanted mine to a new spot it would improve. I'll have to check into that. Thanks for hosting again this week.
all i can say is what a lovely lovely lovely garden you have!
Beautiful shade gardens. Don't you just love how you can mix so many textures and colors without any bloom? Beautiful!
Everything looks very happy and lush Jean! Love the pretty pink of your azalea:@)
Wish our azaleas were still blooming down here in Mississippi. Your garden is beautiful. Thanks for hosting the party.
Your shade garden is beautiful--mine is just starting to wake up and it's like visiting with old friends to see each new plant unfurl.
Love Hostas - They do add so much interest to shade gardens! Lovely photos and plants!
