I Want One!

I have wanted a Hoosier cabinet for as long as I can remember. I wanted one for my kitchen but it's just too small. I wanted one for the deck but couldn't find one cheap enough to have outside. I wanted one for a potting area under the deck. I found one that was perfect! Cheap and not really quality enough to restore. The lady refused to sell it to me because it would be outside!

Yesterday I went back to a sale for something I decided I wanted. Of course, it was gone. I spotted this Hoosier top and everything was half price. For 30 bucks it had to come home with me! Yes, it even has the flour sifter!

I'm thinking I will keep peat moss in it.

I scraped off bad contact paper and scrubbed it up a little. It is only a gardening station, after all.

Voila!

I finally have a Hoosier! It works perfectly over the vintage enamel top table I got for 10 dollars at an auction. I love it!

What a great potting bench!

I have always wanted a Hoosier, too. But, like you, I have no room for one. I think your idea to use it outside is genius!

I love it too!!! I've always wanted one but don't have the space either. Love what you've done with yours. :)

I love it Jean. Way to go there. Looks like a perfect blend to the table you have there to work from. Hope you are having a good day.
