Kiddy Kraft

I can't believe I haven't blogged in such a long time. It took 3 days to get my house back in shape and Christmas put away.
I like to have the girls make a small gift for the family that Mommy and Daddy don't know about. This year we made these snowmen candle holders.
We painted small clay pots off white and glitter varnish, added a strip of material scraps on the rim for a scarf and made a face with stick on felt.

We painted the water tray to coordinate with the material and glued them onto the upturned pot.

The next time they came over we wrapped them.

They were fun to make and they all looked a little different. The girls liked giving presents along with every one else.

Those are so cute! I imagine the girls loved having something special to give to their parents.

What a great project for the girls. You are the most wonderful grandmother! For the rest of their lives, they will have memories of all the gifts they made with you.

You make me wish I had some grandchildren!
