My house painting is finally completed! The last picture I showed didn't have the shutters up. It's been a long haul but well worth the wait.
Even tho the color change was not major, I'm very happy with it. I couldn't seem to find the burgundy I wanted last time. I used beige instead of cream last time. The cream makes the burgundy really 'pop'!
I even found this fall 'wreath' at a craft sale. The color of the ribbon was perfect and I like having something a little different. I couldn't make it for the 20 dollars it cost.

Jean, I am so happy for you, your house is gorgeous! I love the colors you used, and everything looks so neat and tidy and welcoming. The door hardware turned out fantastic, too. What a wonderful thing to have accomplished, you should be very proud.
Bravo - the house looks wonderful. You must be very happy to have this done!
The house looks fantastic...So glad you decided to use your elbow grease and polish up that old beautiful hardware...Won't it look nice all decorated for Christmas? ..Balisha
very nice, such a lovely home! Now sit back and enjoy.
You picked great colors! And the old door hardware looks great with just a little patina left on it. Much better than new.
So Americana looking, I love it!!
The house looks fantastic. Love the wreath and I agree the door hardware with patina works perfectly.
Looks great! Red is my favorite color, so you couldn't have picked a better door color for me.
