I was very excited to see the front of my house all painted when I got home on Monday! There is still a little to do on one side and the whole back needs done but at least it looks better.
On Tuesday I put out some fall decorations and yesterday I washed the windows. Can you see how they sparkle?
The dark green is very close to the original color. I did change to cream, instead of beige and the burgundy is redder than before. The other color faded to almost mauve and I didn't like it.
It's scary to pick colors for a huge house but I'm very happy with my choices. What do you think?.

Oh Jean how happy you must be to have this done. Your house looks wonderful! Love the colour choices.
Jean, the colors are just 'made' for your house! And what a lot of work to do, I can only imagine your surprise at seeing this progress. Your windows are all sparkly-clean too, I wish I had your energy.
Very elegant!
The colors you chose are so lovely and really make the house stand out.
I love the pic in your header of your decked-out-for-fall fireplace as well!

Oh what a good feeling that must be. It looks so good. Love the two tones on the windows. Makes them pop. You have a pretty home.
I love it...reddish burgandy colors are one of my favorites!

Jean the new paint colors look so wonderful together. I can never make up my mind when it comes to choosing colors of paint. I maul it over forever LOL! You made some great choices.
I just love your header picture! Can I ask a question? Is that wallpaper on your wall or is it that textured paper you can paint over? Looks so pretty and clean. I get so tired of looking at all my wood paneling.
