I have not done much outside fall decorating so far this year and the first picture will explain.
My house has looked like this for about 3 weeks. I was supposed to get it painted the first week of July. The painter actually started in August because of hospitalization. He worked for a couple days and went back in the hospital for a month. My neighbor took over and did more priming and scraping. When people asked, I told them we were going camo and needed to add several more colors! A week ago my neighbor quit. Painter number 3 started this week and it has rained all week! I sure hope that 'third time is really the charm'!

How frustrating for you, Jean. I hope you find a new painter soon.
Just knowing you through blogging and your great eye for decorating and design, I bet this is driving you nuts! Fingers crossed that it will all be one color soon. Always love to see your window boxes.
I hope painter #3 can finish the job quickly and that the sun shines for you this next week. Wishing the best!
I truly understand all the work-in-progress projects. I have many that have been in progress far too long. Oh well I know you'll be glad to have it finished. Love your little window boxes. So cute.
So frustrating but things do happen sometimes. Maybe it will get done before winter but hey, it is hunting season so you are in style. LOL!
I really like your window frame. It makes for such a nice place to decorate for the seasons and hoildays. You have your looking terrific for Fall.
Love your window box - so unique. Hope the sun shines soon and the painting gets done.
