Talking chair?

Late afternoon on the last day of an estate sale, I was in line to pay for my few purchases and my eyes caught a glimpse of this chair. I thought it must be expensive or damaged since it was 50% off day and no one had bought it.
One of the helpers saw me looking and went over and sat in it. We had a short conversation on what nice details it had.

When she got out of the chair, I spotted the price. It was only marked 30 dollars! That meant I could get it for 15!

I thought a minute, wondering where I would put it. I do have a good sized house but I don't use the upstairs so space is limited. Spotting my lust hesitation she asked if I'd take it home for $10.

Yes, that cute chair was speaking to me, with a little help. You all know the result! I have no willpower when it comes to nice, cheap chairs, especially rockers. I'm sure the only reason the chair hadn't sold was because it knew I would be there and it was waiting for me. I was meant to buy this chair!

Lovely chair! According to my husband way too many things talk to me and he's once again threatening to rent a huge dumpster to clean house. He only threatens though }:>)
