Welcome!I have some bright colors going on in my garden this week. How about you? The Black-eyed -Susans have taken over the wild garden!
The tall spots of orange are Crocosmia. They can be aggressive but I like the interest they add.
A customer brought me some red ones so they will add another pop of color.
The blue sea thrift is still in bloom. It actually blooms for quite a long time.

Similar to the sea thrift is the globe thistle. This is a 'bald' one
The bright blue ones are the tallest plants in the wild garden. They look beautiful among all the yellow Susans.
Can you see the tall twig like plant in the shade garden? I had to trim the tree because it was so tall.It is a Meadow Rue and the blooms are tiny and delicate. I have several starter plants with it and I'm sure it will make a bigger statement when there is a group of them.
Well, that's what's bloomin' in my 'neck of the woods'. What's bloomin in yours? Just add you name, state and permalink to Mr Linky below. Please remember to add a link to this post on your blog. As always I love your garden, Jean. You have such a wonderful variety of plants and your gardens are so beautifully maintained. Love your photos. Thanks for hosting!
I didn't even notice the Meadow Rue had blooms on it the other night when we were over.
We posted early this week so we wouldn't forget. =)
I love the blooms on that Meadow Rue, so pretty. Not alot going on this week in mine but I'll have my post up shortly. :)
I like the frog sitting on the step ladder in the first picture. Your Black-Eyes Susans are doing a good job of making the frog look like he is hiding!
How funny that I posted a thistle and a bee too this week. Enjoyed your garden!
I will have to go check out my globe thistle, it is the back garden and I bet I am missing the bloomin. I love your black eyed susans. Thanks for hosting Bloomin Tuesday.
Your garden is so colorful. I love the Crocosmia. I do not have those but I will be on the lookout for some now that I have seen yours. I love balloon flowers. I have white ones and short purple ones but I just dont have great luck with the tall purple. I plant them every year and they don't seem to like it here because they never return.
I love the balloon flowers. I justed added on to my "blue" flower bed.
Cute step ladder art.
alos love the Crocosmia. I like both colors.
Very nice. I still love the ladder in your garden. I will not be playing today, regretfully. I am so busy with wedding plans for my daughter...I just had to take a peek though!!
Hi Jean,
Your flowers are looking great. I grow most of the ones you have here, too, but different varieties of some. What I can't keep alive is crocosmia. I sure like those! I am just a bit too far north for them.
Thanks for hosting Bloomin' Tuesday!
I don't have many flowers planted. I think I'll plan some for next year. Yours are gorgeous! Thanks for hosting all of us!
The crocosmia and sea thrift are so lovely, I am going to search for some for the garden. Wonderful post, thank you for hosting!
Love your blooms today. Pretty balloon flowers. Love the way the globe thistle blooms. I've never seen one. have a lovely day Jean.
Your ladder is so cute, the sea thrift is very neat, I don't have any of that.
