Street sale

Our street had yard sales this past weekend. My son and daughter-in-law had lots of baby stuff to get rid of so we set up on Saturday. There's a woman at the end of our street that has similar taste to mine so I had to check her sale out. I got some newer croquet balls and mallets to replace the ones in my front garden, and a plant stand. She had some wood pieces I loved but wasn't sure what to do with them. Of course, I went back Sunday and bought them. Here's what I did with them. This is the side of my yard where I put stuff I don't know what else to do with. I have a burning bush up front and hydrangea in the back so you don't really see this area. It's very narrow and sloped so I added this garden right on the property line. I put this wood railing behind my oak leaf hydrangea and next to a peony plant.I used this old birdhouse on a stake to help hold it in place and painted 'holding cell' on the birdhouse.
I got the railing and these 2 posts for 10 dollars. I placed these posts at the entrance to my shade garden. I'm real happy with both areas now. What do you think?

Love it girl. Wow you got a good deal on the posts. Are you going to paint the posts? Maybe red?

I love your posts and if I lived in the neighborhood they would not have been there when you went back on Sunday. LOL Architectural anything always attracts me. Just Beautiful! Meg
