When I got this window I wasn't sure what I would do with it. I hung it on the end of the deck for the summer. Since it was green, I decided to try it in the dining room for now.I cut and dried some of my ferns, sprayed each fern with spray adhesive and stuck them to the back of the window.
I like the look of it over my mantle. I may leave the ferns on when I put it back on the deck but if not, all I need to do is pull them off and clean the window.

how nice to have a bit of summer with you all winter. Looks lovely!
It's so very nice and so summer-ish, I think it's a very clever idea.
Aren't you a clever one? It looks so pretty in the house. I think I'd just leave it there all year.
It brings the fresh outdoors into your home. Lovely idea.
That has a very expensive and classy look to it. Beautifully done, and so clever that you even thought to put the fern leaves on. Are they on the back of the window and is there a backing attached to that? Not sure how you did it, but I love it!
You have such a great eye for making something out of what some people would say is nothing. Very pretty wall hanging.
I like the ferns...
I love those ferns.....it looks so woodsy and summer/like. Looks very pretty in your home. Thanks for sharing.
I love that! You can switch it out for so many different things - beautiful fall leaves would be pretty too!
