One more?

Can you stand one more flea market find? I just had to have this hard plastic Santa. As you can see from this picture, he is about 17 inches tall. He has a hole in the back for a light and holes in the feet for stakes. I couldn't find any markings or maker anywhere.
I'm guessing it's from the 50's or early 60's. Anyone have one of these when they were young?

Great buy. Santa is so cheery and fun. I know you will enjoy him for years to come.

Does that mean you can put him outside?

Didn't have one but he's a rather dashing man, I must say! Good find...

I always wanted one of those... I am so sorry to barge in, however, I am on a mission to win -- rather to help someone else win. Did you see the Martha Stewart conest where one woman designs and decorate battered women's shelters? Please go peek at my latest blog post and follow the link at the bottom and vote for Terry. And if you have time can you do a blog post to help spread the word about Terry Grahl. Thanks loads, Jenny

We had one of these when I was growing up, but I don't know how long it had been around before I was born, so I'm not sure on the date (I'm 45). He met his demise when the light bulb clip broke and the bulb melted his leg. It was a sad day for me.....

Thanks for stopping by my blog and your lovely comments. I'm so glad you saw the *real* color!!! Come back soon!
