It's Bloomin' Tuesday!

My kids and I were in Allegheny State Park for the long weekend so I thought I would show you what was still blooming there.
We went to Thunder Rocks and these ferns were growing on top of these huge rocks. I'll show more pictures of the rocks later.
Lots of wild asters
dandelions,
and dandelion seed heads,

goldenrod,
a tiny buttercup,
tiny daisies,
(not sure what these are)

but who needs flower blooms when you have this!
If you would like to show what's bloomin' where you are planted, just add your name and permalink to Mr Linky.

Enjoy the bloomin' tour from your computer chair!

Hi Jean, I love that picture of the trees showing off their fall colors. We don't get leave color changes in the yellow and oranges so I really enjoy seeing pictures! Thanks for hosting Blooming Tuesday again!
Love, Ann

Interesting outing. The last photo is very painterly. It looks like a well done acrylic!

Hi Jean, I don't have much new that's blooming at the moment so I won't join in today.

The leaves on those trees are so gorgeous! Our leaves are just now starting to turn.

The buttercup, daisies, and goldenrod are pretty flowers but sadly it's apparent that their blooms will soon end. The colorful foilage is gorgeous. Our leaves are turning colors too.

Thanks for hosting BT!

I think that last photo must be another wild aster. Could be wrong. But, you are right... who needs flowers when the leaves are just shining with such brilliant color. Wish I could go to the mountains.

You captured autumn in its final stages. The colours are beautiful.
But, how did you ever find a dandelion??

Was too late to join in today. It was misty when I got up this morning and I took pics of cobwebs in the hedge.
We'll see what next week brings.

Beautiful fall colors in the park right now. Those wild flowers especially the goldenrod & asters really are pretty. I think the unknown wildflowers are a type of aster too. :)
