It's Bloomin' Tuesday!

I love cone flowers don't you?I especially like this color. I just got these this year at Walmart.
Looks like something got after these yellow ones.See the grass behind the white ones? I just dug it out yesterday because it was huge and I was tired of it there. I moved part of it to the other side of the house and gave the rest to the neighbor. I had to cut it apart with a tree saw.

I moved all the small bunches of colored (except the purple ones) cone flowers to where the grass was. I'm hoping they will all spread and make a colorful statement.Cone flowers are interesting at any stage.
This one is enormous!
I have tons of this color in my middle garden but their stems are green not burgundy.
The bees love cone flowers too!
Thanks for stopping by on Bloomin' Tuesday! If you would like to join the fun just put your name and address on Mr. Linky and a link to this post on your blog. To take a country wide garden tour just click on the names below.

I love the coneflowers. My parents used to grow fields of echinacea angustafolia(sp?)for the herbal benefits.

What a beautiful collection of cone flowers. No new blooms to share this week, but I took some wonderful dragonfly photos in the garden.

Wonderful photos! Cone flowers sometimes come in desert wildflower mixes, and they bloom in February/March here. They stand out among the more delicate wildflowers because the flowers are larger and taller than most, except for Pentstemon. Looking at your photos I'm reminded of the cooler days of early spring!

Your posies look great...as usual.
The Japanese beetles are making a mess of things in the garden here.
Any solutions from your gurus that surf in here?

DH does a run through twice a day with a can with some gas in the bottom...flicking them in.
Tedious.

What a wonderful collection of coneflowers. My garden is shameful right now ..... so neglected and overgrown.

You are such a inspiration.

Jean, your coneflowers are really beautiful! I first saw WHITE coneflowers a week ago in a small town Lowe's! I would have bought them but I was traveling and didn't have room to bring them home.

I posted a picture today of a tobacco plant back in my hometown. They were lining the streets! My own garden flowers are so desparate for rain; they look pitiful! We can't water them or we may drain the well. We are praying for more rain to nourish our gardens.

Thank you as always for your beautiful posts.

Your cone flowers are just beautiful! I have purple ones that I planted a few years ago and this year I bought white ones and they're just now starting to bloom. Next year I'll have to see what other colours are available here:-) xoxo
