What a beautiful monarch (I think) and he loves those coneflowers. You think their prickly cones would be uncomfortable for them to balance on.

I've so enjoyed seeing all of the garden photographs you've shared. They are so inspiring. This is a in between time in my garden, with fewer flowers than the other summertime months. I need to plant more echinachia I think!

Amazing photos indeed! Your quite a photographer.

I love the photo of the butterfly on the lovely purple coneflowers. Coneflowers are one of my dads favourite types of perennial.

I think I have to leave your blog now, I am too anxious for spring after looking at all your garden photos :)
