Bloomin' Thyme!

I love thyme! I love it when it's blooming and when it isn't.
I love it's wonderful scent.
I love it no matter what kind of thyme it is.
I love the way it grows in nice mounds.Do you have thyme in your garden?
I use this croquet stake as a hose guard at the beginning of the thyme area of my front garden.Look close at the first picture (or click to enlarge)
and you can see these croquet mallets leaning on the light post.
I'm a firm believer that you can never have too much thyme in the garden!

When I have "time" I want to plant some small thyme beside the rocks separating the gardens from the paths.

I've never planted thyme before. I would like to place it between my stepping stones.

I don't have any thyme in my garden. It's very nice and reminds me of creeping phlox.

Great idea using the croquet things for the hose. Decorative and useful. You are so clever!

Your thyme is wonderful. I can see why you love it so. And thyme has the most intoxicating scent. I have a small area a creeping or 'steppable' thyme that I started this year, but after seeing your may get some of the real deal next year.

I'm obviously missing out. I don't have any thyme in my garden. However, I now know what to do with the crochet set I have in my garage collecting dust! Yippeee!

HI Jean!
I found your blog through Ruth's. I, too, am a garden lover. I'm thinking of joining your Tuesday club. I am a gardener in the desert with desert denial :-)
I love your Thyme. I may have to see if I can plant it between stepping stones here. I'm not sure if it is too hot. We are zone 13-14
Come and visit me! :-)
