The bugleweed (ajuga) is blooming. It is a great, but aggressive, variegated burgundy ground cover. The spring blooms are just a bonus!
Two jolly-jump ups from last year. They sure are happy little flowers.
I love the color of this lilac. It belongs to my neighbor. I took care of it for years for my other neighbor so I always picked them. Now I just enjoy it from afar. The only downside to this lilac is it doesn't have the wonderful scent of most lilacs.
Speaking of scent, my pink lilies of the valley are blooming. I love these! They always bloom a little earlier than the white.

I have huge hosta "bushes" in front of my house. The ice always fell and ruined any shrub I planted on this side of the house.
Hosta gives the same effect and nothing hurts it!
My azalea is really beautiful this year.
It's been quite cool so it may last a little longer than usual.
This was here when I bought the house and I love the color.

So whats bloomin' this week, where you are planted? Join the fun and sign up!

Love all your blooms, but my favorite is the deep purple lilac. I bet it smells heavenly!

I don't think I could pick a favorite -- I loved every picture! It's really interesting to see what blooms in other areas of the country. I haven't seen any lilies of the valley for years. They are so beautiful. Your hostas are huge! Ours get half that size -- if that. Lucky you!

I'm beginning to love hostas! Since I've statted visiting gardening blogs, I've seen so many different ones and they are all interesting. I wonder how many varieties there are!
The azalea color is lovely.

Your yard is really coming alive with color. My Azaleas are done but the Rhodos are just starting. They should be ready for next Tuesday for sure!

Love the ajuga. Mine is almost ready to bloom. Your hostas look great by the side of the house.

It was interesting to see that you called them "jolly" jump ups. I call them "johnny" jump ups. I enjoy hearing all the different names we call our flowers. I just finished posting a pic of them, too.

Thank you for the nice visit. I may have time to visit one more blog before I have to get ready for work.

Your hosta look so thick and vibrant. I always love the look of hostas even if they are just green and white. Your azaleas are stunning. Can't wait to see more. Hugs, RoseMarie

My lilacs are going like crazy. One rose bush is blooming like mad the one right next to it isn't. This morning I asked my 5 year old son if he knew why the new pussywillow had a broken branch. He said, "No but when I jumped over Bob's (neighbor) bush, IT didn't break!" Makes me wonder what he might have done to the rose bush =) Blessings... Polly
