I want to wish a Happy 61st Birthday and a super day to my OLDER brother, John, today. If you would like to read my tribute to his 60th and a funny story in the comments from his youngest son, Geoff, go here.
John planned on getting an earring and a tattoo for his 60th. Geoff gave him a gift certificate for the earring. He called about the tattoo but decided it wasn't worth 50 bucks since he wanted a pair of lips on his but and no one would see it!
This (altered) quote pretty much sums him up.
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, beer in one hand, guitar in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "Woo-hoo, what a ride!"
