Show and Tell

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday! To join or find a list of everyone "showing and telling" today go visit Kelli's House.

I bought my item at an antique mall several years ago. I'm really not sure why I bought it, except it is quite unique.

Do you have any idea what this is?
It was made by the Hoan, Housewares for all Nations, Hong Kong. Hoan Housewares is still in existence today under Lifetime Brands.
This is the speedy way to make cut out cookies! You can make a star, large gingerbread man, a bell, Santa, tree, reindeer, and a small gingerbread boy and girl, all with one press. I've never used this to make cookies but have displayed it in my kitchen at Christmas. I have no idea what year it was made. Have you ever seen one?

I have never seen one but I want yours. It would really speed up the tedious process of cut out cookies. You have a great item.

Hi Jean, I've been enjoying looking through a few of your previous posts to catch up with you. I've never seen a cookie press such as this, but it makes a great conversation piece!
That cute terracotta snowman really caught my eye. My daughter makes little Christmas angels from those pots. Very cute!

Very unique. The closest thing I've ever seen to it was a cookie cutter that cut out three cookies at once. This is so much better. Thanks for sharing. You certainly have a treasure there.

Blessings,
Mary

What a great old thing to have. You really should try using it one day! It would be fun to trace the origins, wouldn't it?

That is so cool. What a great find. You really must use it to see how well it works. I guess that is what the holes are for-to push the dough on the ones that stick?
