My neighbor and I want to a household sale earlier this week. I found a few things.I love this bid colander. It will make a great planter for my kitchen garden next year. This drawer was only a dollar. I'm not sure what I'll do with it but I knew I'd be sorry if I didn't buy it.
There were 6 of these. I'm seeing some sort of Christmas decoration. I give something I've made to my kids and niece and nephew every year.
I love this little black shoe. I'll remove the flowers and add something of my own.
I'm always on the lookout for vintage tree ornaments.
This is a reproduction Santa book. It is written as a poem and the graphics are wonderful.
I'll show you more of it at Christmas time.

Oh Jean, such wonderful treasures you found!! I have that exact little reproduction Christmas booklet! It was given to me in the late 1970's by my oldest brother:-) Like you, I'm always on the lookout for vintage Christmas ornaments...you found such gorgeous ones!! xox
Wow! Those are some great finds--I love the old drawer and shoe especially! I know you'll come up with some interesting and really unique use for them.
I enjoyed catching up on your blog-I'm looking forward to when I can blog again more often.
Congrats on the award-you truly are deserving!
Always a joy to visit you!--Claudia O.
