There are advantages to blogging aside from the obvious of making new friends and getting a look into others homes and hobbies.
One more advantage for me is that decided to organize my pictures. I had pictures of my Grandmothers that my Mom was supposed to organize. I gave the really old ones to my only Uncle in hopes that he would at least know who was who.
Plus I had pictures of my Moms and my own. Every time I thought of a picture I wanted to blog about I dug thru a couple boxes and a couple drawers looking for the picture. It got old real fast! (Especially since they were all in my cold upstairs.
Well, the last 4 pictures has been turned into this.
I haven't written on the pictures yet so my kids will know who everyone is but at least they are divided into categories. If I didn't know the people I threw them away or put them in a pile for my uncle. It is a good feeling to have that much done. All I need to do now is get some proper boxes with labels and write on the backs who is in the picture.Next time I need a picture I shouldn't have any trouble finding it.

Wow you certainly did a terrific job on putting those pictures in order!! Well done! I've got many pictures sorted out in albums but I still have a huge box to go through yet...it certainly is a good idea to write on the back who is in the picture for future generations:-) Hugs xox
Great job organizing! I've been working on a similar project but I have four generations of stuff to categorize! Big job!!
