Bloomin' Tuesday!

 Welcome!
A wicker sleigh full of pansies and some tansy.
Sun drops adding more yellow to the 'wild' garden.
 Feverfew by the shed.
The start of a moss garden under a pine tree.
 A basket of begonias.
Boy, dogs, frogs and a truck.

Bloomin' Tuesday!

Welcome!
My front garden with the trellis is looking pretty good.  I made the trellis from wrought iron porch posts. I've planted a couple Clematis on it, a summer bloomer and a fall bloomer.
Cranesbill geranium are another favorite of mine.  They always fill in so nice and bloom all season.
This grass has cute little blue flowers on the tips of it.  It does pop up all over and seems to grow even in full shade.
I love this new Splish Splash Cranesbill I just got. It's mostly white but there is purple here and there.  Sometimes a whole petal and sometimes just a 'splash'.
My 'wild' garden is getting pretty wild!  Right now there are mostly daisies, yellow loosestrife and Red Huckster (actually white blooms with red stems) blooming.
I love this dark burgundy dianthis.  Another Cranesbill behind it.
They are in my middle garden along with foxglove and pink thrift.
Along the walkway I planted 3 Cranesbill.  One is doing well but it seems the deer like the blue and the light  pink.

It's Bloomin' Tuesday!

 Welcome!
We are still having weird weather.  Today is rainy and cool.  Yesterday was 80 and sunny, Saturday  was cloudy and 60's.  One thing about rain then heat, the plants are growing like crazy!
I love Foxgloves and they are beautiful in my center garden.

The plants have never been this huge.  The only other bloom is the Spiderwort right now.
 Foxgloves certainly do get around!
I didn't plant this one in the front of my shade garden,
or this one in the shade garden,
or these on the side of the house,
or this one in the wild garden,
or these,
or even this one in my front sidewalk garden.  I know it's not their fault that I don't have the heart to pull them out.  Looks like time to do some transplanting!
The Siberian Iris are blooming this week
 and so are the Peony
  and one Knockout Rose.

It's Bloomin' Tuesday!

 Welcome!
Our town is a town full of Rhododendrons.  You can't go down a single street without seeing some.  For some reason, they are more beautiful than ever this season.  Just to prove that, I took a walk down my street.  Keep in mind that I live in the middle of a short street with the highest house number being 45.  I only walked in one direction.
This first house is across the street slightly to the right.

I must admit that this house is on the next street over but I couldn't resist it!  The first huge bush is a pale lavender.  The last you can only see slightly is light pink.
I have never seen a bloom on a Rhodie so beautiful! Amazing, isn't it?
Confession time,  I do not have a Rhododendron or a desire to own one unless I could find a lavender one!
