Playin' in the dirt!

Jerzie and I decided to play in the dirt while Payton was napping this morning. We brought the dirt and our garden tools into the basement and did some planting. We planted 2 kinds of sunflowers, cosmos, morning glories and a sensitive plant that Jerzie got in a movie. Now comes the fun of watching them grow! We still need to get some pumpkin seeds to try again this year. The kids came over for game day yesterday. We didn't play too many games but it's always good to get together. These last 2 shots are the essence of Payton.
Always moving...
or eating!

I look forward to seeing those plants growing in your yard :-) That's a good activity for grandma and granddaughter. Payton looks like she doesn't sit still for very long.

What sweet pictures of you and Jerzie and Payton. Grandchildren are such fun. And, that Payton... on the run. Reminds me of my two and a half year old grandson. Are they ever still?
